The Nursing Degree Course at the São José de Cluny School of Nursing offers qualified training in the scientific, technical, human and cultural aspects in the main areas of provision, research and management of nursing procedures. A set of concepts, principles and values are integrated into the philosophy of this Degree in Nursing, in order to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge for the professional practice of Nursing.
This philosophy gives this diploma national and international recognition.
The Study Plan is made up of several assumptions, among which are the concepts of Man and Environment, Family, Community, Health / Illness, Nursing / Nursing Care and Education / Training, taking into account the different levels of prevention

Professional Status
Graduates in Nursing, after applying for the Professional Certificate from the Order of Nurses, will develop their professional activity as a Nurse.
The Nurse is a health professional, politically and culturally aware, who holds a set of qualifications that enables him to perform his functions autonomously and in complementarity, assuming himself as a qualified professional in nursing care, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach and interprofessional analysis of the problems within the health teams.
Its action is carried out at local, regional and national level, in relation to health policies and in two major areas of intervention: hospital services and community services.

Minimum rating:
95 in the Admission Test and 100 in the application grade (on a scale of 0 to 200)
The calculation of the application grade is 50% for the secondary school average and 50% for the entrance exams
